Earlier this year, we also learned that the U.S. doubled its rate of solar power growth in 2016. With astounding milestones like this, coupled with lower energy bills, <a title=\"SOLAR ENGINEERING\" href=\"services\/solar-engineering\/?utm_source=kmbblog&amp;utm_medium=post&amp;utm_campaign=June-blog3&amp;utm_content=solarservices\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reliable solar engineering services<\/a>, tax breaks and other incentives, corporate demand for green energy continues to grow.<\/p>\n<p>The report, published by the\u00a0<a title=\"U.S. Energy Information Administration\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eia.gov\/todayinenergy\/detail.php?id=31632\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">U.S. Energy Information Administration<\/a> (EIA), found that wind and solar accounted for 10 percent of all electricity generation in March 2017 (wind comprising 8 percent, solar comprising 2 percent). See chart below.<\/p>\n<div class=\"atlas-chart\" data-id=\"HywdnSgQW\" data-width=\"640\" data-height=\"449\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"max-width: 100%;\" src=\"wp-content\/uploads\/atlas_HywdnSgQW.png\" \/><\/div>\n<p><script src=\"https:\/\/www.theatlas.com\/javascripts\/atlas.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Solar Growth Continues<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Electricity generation from wind and solar (including utility-scale plants and small-scale systems) is expected to continue growing rapidly. According to another report from the U.S. Energy Information Administration&#8217;s (EIA) &#8220;<a title=\"Electric Power Monthly\" href=\"http:\/\/www.eia.gov\/electricity\/monthly\/?utm_source=kmbblog&amp;utm_medium=post&amp;utm_campaign=June-blog3&amp;utm_content=solarservices\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Electric Power Monthly<\/a>,\u201d renewable energy sources (solar, geothermal, wind, etc.) continued rapid growth in 2016 and accounted for 15.34 percent of domestic electrical generation (compared to 13.65% in 2015). <em>This growth blew past the EIA\u2019s earlier forecasts of 9.5% for the sector<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The <a title=\"TODAY IN ENERGY\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eia.gov\/todayinenergy\/detail.php?id=31632&amp;src=email\/?utm_source=kmbblog&amp;utm_medium=post&amp;utm_campaign=June-blog3&amp;utm_content=solarservices\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">EIA noted<\/a> that renewable energy generation follows seasonal patterns. Wind patterns, for example, vary based on geography. According to the organization, \u201cBased on seasonal patterns in recent years, electricity generation from wind and solar will probably exceed 10% of total U.S. generation again in April, then fall to less than 10% in the summer months.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Lexodant Solar TechnologyPhotovoltaic Design and Solar Engineering Services<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The stats continue to inspire change. At the same time, the U.S. increased its solar (PV) installations by 95 percent, the highest growth rate on record.<\/p>\n<p><em>But these eye-opening benchmarks are only the beginning for clean energy. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Provided the renewable energy transformation trends continue in this upward fashion, we can only expect that solar and other renewable sources will once again surpass EIA\u2019s expectations in years to come.
